What people ask before they book.
How much does a removalist cost in Perth?
Most Perth removalists charge by the hour, and so do we. Our rate is $160 an hour with a 2-hour minimum, and that includes two movers and the truck with trolleys, blankets and straps. The clock runs from when we arrive until the truck is back at our Woodvale base. Jobs under two hours get a set price, and we tell you which applies before you book.
What does the hourly rate include?
Two experienced removalists, the truck, trolleys, moving blankets, tie-down straps and the basic tools for pulling apart beds and tables. You are not paying extra for the gear or the second pair of hands.
Where are you based, and where do you move?
We are based in Woodvale and move anywhere in the Perth metro, from Yanchep down to Mandurah and east to Midland and the hills. Because the clock runs until the truck is back at base, the northern suburbs are our quickest and most affordable jobs.
How far ahead should I book?
As early as you can for a weekend, because those dates go first. Midweek we can often fit a move in the same week. Send your details and we will come back with our next available dates, usually the same day.
What are the red flags with Perth moving companies?
A rate you only find out once they are on site, a minimum nobody mentioned, extra fees announced on the day, and a company that goes quiet once you have paid. Whoever you book, ask three things: what is the rate, is there a minimum, and is travel time charged?
Do you do interstate moves?
No. We are a Perth metro removalist, with regional WA runs on request. If you are moving interstate we are not the right fit, and we would rather tell you that now.
